Love Aussie Wine But Want to Drink Wine With Heart?
Margaret River is one of the best places on the planet to discover Organic and Biodynamic wines made with care for the land, the vines, and your body.
This special corner of the world stretches from Cape Naturaliste in the north to Cape Leeuwin in the south, dipping its toes into both the Indian and Southern Oceans. The unique climate here does a lot of the hard work for us: winter brings enough rain to keep the water table topped up, while dry summers help us dodge the mildew and rot that can plague organic vineyards elsewhere.
And because Margaret River is geographically isolated, we don’t have big industrial cities or pesticide-heavy monocultures next door. Fewer pests, fewer problems. Western Australia also has some of the strictest quarantine laws in the country, which helps protect our land and vines.
Our soils are mostly ancient, gravelly loams—ideal for grapevines, especially when you're not drenching them in fertilisers. Long, dry summers give us slow, even ripening, which means flavour-packed fruit with beautiful natural balance.
And perhaps best of all, there’s a community here. A growing bunch of organic, biodynamic, and regenerative growers who are just as likely to be spraying seaweed tea under the moonlight as you are. You’re not the odd one out here—you’re in good company. Eco-conscious locals, surfers, and slow-food lovers make this place a dream for anyone chasing a cleaner, more connected way to grow and drink wine.
Margaret River has the right weather, the right soils, and the right mindset—a triple win that makes it one of the easiest, cleanest, and most exciting places in the world to grow organic grapes.
