Like your favourite comedian, this wine has a wonderfully dry delivery and flavourful punchline that will send your tastebuds into the giggles. Lemon balm, crushed oyster shells, grapefruit pith. Like someone zested a lemon over river stones and handed you a glass.
The Chardonnay base offers a full-body mouthfeel, and the Aligoté adds fresh acidity and a subtle lemon curd tang. It’s linear, lively, laser-like, and Ben says this is the best vintage yet.
Dish up and drink with ceviche, tempura veg, fish and chips, or that baguette you bought “for later” and never made it home with.
